The P4.00 outdoor LED display, with 62,500 pixels per square meter, is designed for facade and totem applications viewed from five to six meters or more away. This is the most commonly used resolution for facades on streets with vehicle traffic.

At this viewing distance, brightness becomes a more critical factor than resolution. If the screen is exposed to direct sunlight and the viewer is in motion, what matters is not the image detail but whether the display is visible from a distance.

Readable in direct sunlight at 4,500–5,000 cd/m²

On facades exposed to direct sunlight, a brightness level of 3,500 cd/m² is insufficient at midday. The brightness level of this model ensures that content remains visible throughout the day in open-facade applications.

Technical Specifications

Operates with SMD1921 lamp type and a brightness of 4,500–5,000 cd/m². The 960 x 960 mm cabinet is manufactured with a focus on weatherproofing and thermal management for outdoor conditions; the cooling design directly impacts the lifespan of modules operating at high brightness levels.

Cabinet dimensions are 960 x 960 mm, cabinet resolution is 240 x 240 pixels, and module dimensions are 320 mm x 160 mm. With a pixel pitch of 4 mm, there are approximately 62,500 pixels per square meter; the total resolution is calculated based on this value when determining the screen size.

Thermal management determines the screen’s lifespan

In LED displays operating continuously at high brightness, heat is the primary cause of aging. If cabinet ventilation and driver placement are not properly designed, the display will begin to lose color within a few years.
