Shure BLX1288/SM31 Combination Wireless System

The Shure BLX1288/SM31 is a combination system running a moisture-resistant headset microphone (SM31FH) and the legendary SM58 handheld microphone together on a dual-channel BLX88 receiver. It is designed for setups where a physically demanding role and a stationary, vocal-led role appear in the same programme.

At a fitness event you may have both an instructor working hard (headset) and someone delivering the opening remarks or announcements (handheld SM58); similarly, a sports event may need commentary and mobile presenting at the same time. Two independent channels let each microphone run at its own level. Up to 14 hours of battery life covers full-day programmes.

For a fitness class alone the BLX14/SM31 is enough; this combination system is aimed at events where a moving instructor and a stationary commentator or host are both required.
