Product Description
The Shure BLX14/B98 is a wireless instrument system combining a bodypack transmitter with the BETA98H/C flexible clip-on microphone. Because the BETA98H/C is a condenser microphone that clips directly onto wind and percussion instruments, it is built for musicians who want to take sound straight from the instrument without tying up their hands.
It is ideal for wind instruments such as trumpet and saxophone, or for drum and percussion sections where musicians move on stage; because the microphone is fixed to the instrument, no separate stand setup is needed. The clip-on mount is designed to fit different instrument bodies. Up to 14 hours of battery life covers long concert or worship music sets.
This system is chosen for live music performance, worship music teams and ensemble performances where instrument-level miking is required; vocal needs have to be met with a separate handheld system.
