The Shure BLX14/CVL wireless presentation system pairs professional sound quality with easy setup and up to 14 hours of battery life, delivering excellent audio straight out of the box. The system includes the BLX4 desktop single-channel receiver, a BLX1 bodypack transmitter with CVL lavalier microphone, tie clip, power supply, 2 AA batteries, windscreen and user guide.
Product Description
The Shure BLX14/CVL is a wireless presentation system combining a bodypack transmitter with the CVL lavalier microphone. Because the lavalier attaches at chest height with a small clip, it leaves the hands entirely free and draws noticeably less attention than a headset.
That makes it practical for people speaking on camera, chairing panels or teaching; in interviews and corporate video shoots, a microphone that stays out of the way is often the deciding factor. The tie clip and windscreen accessories are supplied in the box, which makes both indoor and outdoor use possible. Up to 14 hours of battery life covers full-day events.
It can be considered as an alternative to a headset for users who want their hands free without the active movement a headset is built for; in highly mobile scenarios such as fitness instruction, headset options like the SM31 are a better fit.
