Shure BLX14R/CVL Wireless Lavalier Microphone Set

The BLX14R/CVL is a wireless lavalier system aimed at presentation and speech. The box contains the rack-mount BLX4R receiver, the BLX1 bodypack transmitter and the Centraverse CVL cardioid condenser lavalier microphone.

A lavalier is chosen to keep the presenter's hands free. For speakers who advance slides, write on a board or demonstrate a product, a handheld microphone is simply not practical.

Hands free, speech stays natural

The lavalier clips to clothing, so the presenter is not occupied holding a microphone. In presentation, training and panel formats, movement is expected — and the level stays constant regardless of distance to a fixed microphone.

CVL cardioid condenser capsule

The Centraverse CVL is a cardioid condenser lavalier microphone. The cardioid pattern reduces ambient noise and feedback risk, while the condenser design captures the detail in speech.

Rack installation and 14-hour runtime

The receiver mounts into a 19-inch rack cabinet, keeping equipment off the table in fixed installations. The BLX1 transmitter runs for up to 14 hours on two AA batteries, so no battery change is needed across a full day of training or conference sessions.
