Shure BLX14R/PGA31 Rack Wireless Bodypack System

The Shure BLX14R/PGA31 is a wireless system pairing the BLX4R half-rack receiver with the PGA31 headset microphone. Unlike the desktop BLX4, the BLX4R is designed to be mounted in a rack cabinet — which means the system is intended as part of a permanent AV installation.

In conference halls, training rooms and venues with permanent sound systems, placing the receiver in a rack alongside the other AV equipment both simplifies cable management and gives the installation a more professional appearance. The PGA31 headset provides everyday convenience as a general-purpose presentation microphone that leaves the hands free. Up to 14 hours of battery life comfortably covers full-day programmes.

If a portable setup is planned, the desktop BLX14/PGA31 is more practical; this rack version is intended for permanently installed halls and facilities.
