Shure BLX14R/SM31 Rack Wireless Bodypack System

The Shure BLX14R/SM31 is a wireless system combining the BLX4R half-rack receiver with the moisture-resistant SM31FH headset microphone. The rack-mount receiver allows the system to be installed as part of the permanent sound infrastructure of a venue such as a sports facility or studio; the receiver goes into the rack cabinet with the rest of the equipment and cabling stays tidy.

The SM31FH's moisture resistance makes this system meaningful for gyms with constant perspiration, announcement systems around swimming and water sports, and instructors working in humid interiors. Because the rack mounting kit and antenna set are supplied in the box, installation can be completed without sourcing extra parts. Up to 14 hours of battery life covers consecutive class hours.

For a single hall with portable use in mind the desktop BLX14/SM31 is sufficient; this rack version is preferred for permanent facility installations where several systems are managed together.
