The Shure BLX14/W85M wireless presentation system pairs professional sound quality with simple setup and up to 14 hours of battery life, delivering legendary sound straight out of the box. The system includes the BLX4 desktop single-channel receiver, a BLX1 bodypack transmitter with WL185m lavalier microphone, tie clip, power supply, 2 AA batteries, windscreen and user guide.
Product Description
The Shure BLX14/W85M is a wireless presentation system combining a bodypack transmitter with the WL185m lavalier microphone. The WL185m is known as an upper-tier model in Shure's lavalier line, with a slim design that draws very little attention on clothing.
That slim profile is valuable for television interviews, corporate promotional videos and presentations addressed straight to camera, where productions prefer a microphone that does not stand out on screen. Tie clip and windscreen accessories are supplied in the box. Up to 14 hours of battery life covers full-day shoots or event programmes.
A standard lavalier such as the CVL is adequate for most indoor presentations, while the W85M makes a difference in closer camera work and productions where image quality is the priority.
