Shure BLX188 Dual Wireless Bodypack System

The Shure BLX188 is a wireless system bringing together the dual-channel BLX88 receiver, two BLX1 bodypack transmitters and two WA302 instrument cables. It is built for anyone who needs to make two separate instruments wireless at the same time through a single receiver.

Where two guitarists, or a guitarist and a bass player, need to play simultaneously on the same stage, this single-receiver package can be chosen instead of two separate systems — saving both rack space and setup time. Because the two channels run independently, one transmitter's signal does not affect the other. Up to 14 hours of battery life allows for long sets.

For groups that also need vocals this system is not sufficient on its own; a separate handheld microphone system is required. The BLX188 is focused specifically on covering the wireless signal needs of two instruments.
