Shure BLX188/SM31 Dual Wireless Bodypack System

The Shure BLX188/SM31 is a wireless system bringing together the dual-channel BLX88 receiver and two moisture-resistant SM31FH headset microphones. It is built for fitness studios where two instructors teach at the same time, or where a class is handed over from one to another.

In spin, step or group class formats two instructors sometimes use microphones in turn or together; because both headsets run on independent channels, there is no interruption when one speaks while the other waits. The SM31FH's moisture resistance protects the electronics in environments with heavy perspiration. Up to 14 hours of battery life covers consecutive class blocks.

For single-instructor studios the BLX14/SM31 is sufficient; this dual system is a meaningful choice for fitness centres where more than one instructor works in rotation or together.
