Shure BLX24R/SM58 Rack Wireless Handheld System

The Shure BLX24R/SM58 is a wireless vocal system bringing together the BLX4R half-rack receiver and the SM58 handheld transmitter. The rack-mount receiver allows the system to be installed alongside other equipment as part of a hall's or facility's permanent sound infrastructure.

The SM58's widely accepted sound character gives a familiar microphone experience that different speakers or artists can pick up comfortably on a venue's permanent system; guest speakers and invited performers need no additional adjustment period. The rack mounting kit and antenna set are supplied in the box. Up to 14 hours of battery life covers long programmes and events.

For one-off or portable use the desktop BLX24/SM58 may be preferred; this rack version is designed for permanent hall installations where the system has to work as part of the wider AV setup.
