AVer FONE540 Conferencing Speakerphone

The FONE540 handles the audio side of the meeting room. Its two omnidirectional microphones pick up sound across a full 360 degrees, so placed in the middle of the table it captures everyone around it evenly.

It connects to a computer over USB and to a phone over Bluetooth. A 3.5 mm aux input also lets participants bringing their own devices use the system as a speakerphone.

Daisy-chain as the room grows

As supplied it suits medium-sized rooms. For long tables, an expansion microphone or up to two additional speakerphones can be daisy-chained — so the same product scales from a small huddle room to a large meeting hall.

Full-duplex echo cancellation and noise suppression

Full-duplex echo cancellation prevents audio dropping out when both sides speak at once. Advanced noise suppression and wideband voice processing reduce the amount of air-conditioning and office noise reaching the far end.

Connectivity built for BYOD setups

It connects wirelessly over Bluetooth or by cable over micro USB 2.0; UAC 1.0 support means no additional drivers are needed. The 3.5 mm line input brings phones and laptops into the system quickly. The speaker reaches up to 90 dB SPL at 0.5 metres.
